Dear brothers and sisters! Eid-ul-Futr is ahead of us. Eid Mubarak to you and your family members and to all Islamic brothers and sisters who have fasted for the sake of Allah even during these tough times.
On this auspicious day, many of us may not be able to hug each other or meet each other. With the coronavirus pandemic coming down heavily across the world and strict stay at home orders circulated, there's no denying that the festivities will be a little dull than usual this year.
Doing alms and charity is one of the biggest pillars of Islam and many Muslims around the world make it a point to practice social welfare. This year, it can be a good idea to help those in need. Many struck by the unprecedented crisis are finding it hard to manage rations or have protective equipment to stay safe. You can distribute money, grains to those in need right now.
In the last, I request to Muslims to help the poor and needy and for the welfare of the Muslim communities or Islamic institutions such as Madrasas. And my prayer now is for everyone to be safe and that there will be no more Covid-19 cases. May Allah the exalted protect everyone from epidemic disease Coronavirus and may heal all those people infected with COVID-19. (Aameen ya rabbal Aalameen)
